Portland, Ore. – Learning.com, a leader in providing digital literacy curriculum for elementary and middle school students, today announced registration is open for its free Tech Readiness Quiz. This interactive assessment will provide educators with actionable data on how well their students grasp critical digital literacy concepts as outlined in the 2016 ISTE Standards for Students.
Questions that make up the Tech Readiness Quiz were written by experts in digital literacy to help educators pinpoint the skills students need to be prepared for success in a digital world. After students complete the Tech Readiness Quiz, results are displayed in a teacher dashboard at the individual student and class levels. Quiz participation is recommended for students in fifth and sixth grade; the test has been written at a third-grade reading level. It is compatible with all devices and no special software is required.
“More than 70 percent of elementary teachers feel their students are ‘not well prepared’ with the technology skills needed to be successful on online tests. Yet, there are few options when it comes to measuring students’ digital literacy aptitude,” said Keith Oelrich, CEO, Learning.com “We are proud to offer the Tech Readiness Quiz at no cost, providing educators with a quick and simple way to identify gaps, so that they can map learning paths ensuring all their students develop digital literacy proficiency.”
