Portland, Ore. – Learning.com, a national leader in providing digital literacy solutions for students, is celebrating Safer Internet Day, February 6, 2018. By offering free resources, including lesson plans and a safety checklist, it hopes to help bridge the home-school gap and ensure students are safe online every day and everywhere.
A special, globally-recognized day of Internet safety, Safer Internet Day serves as a call to action for everyone to play a part in creating a better Internet for all, especially the youngest users out there—students. It’s also an invitation for people of all ages to join in and engage with each other online in a respectful way to ensure a better digital experience for everyone using the Internet.
“While students may think they are tech savvy, it is critical that they are aware of the dangers of learning and playing in a digital environment.
