Portland, Ore. – Learning.com announced today that its EasyTech and Digital Literacy Assessments earned the International Society for Technology in Education’s (ISTE) Seal of Alignment for Readiness against the ISTE Standards for Students, and its Inquiry solution earned the ISTE Seal of Alignment for Proficiency, against the ISTE Standards for Students.
The ISTE Standards support educators to re-engineer their classrooms for digital age learning. The standards serve as a framework for students, educators, administrators and coaches to rethink education and create innovative learning environments. Products and resources submitted to the ISTE Seal of Alignment program undergo a rigorous review by a panel of subject matter experts who have a deep understanding of the ISTE Standards. Resources and solutions seeking the ISTE Seal of Alignment are evaluated based on their pedagogical value and the extent to which they build the skills embodied in the standards.
“EasyTech was identified as a powerful platform to help students acquire the foundational digital skills needed to be lifelong learners and succeed in college and career,” said Mindy Frisbee, director of alignment for ISTE. “Additionally, our reviewers found Inquiry to provide students with diverse experiences to integrate technology across all of the core content areas, and the Digital Literacy Assessments was noted to be polished, visually appealing, easy to use and age-appropriate for the target audiences of fifth and eighth grade.”
“Educators across the globe view solutions that earn the ISTE Standards Seal of Alignment as the gold standard for successfully implementing digital learning,” said Learning.com CEO, Keith Oelrich. “This recognition confirms that our solutions meet the needs of today’s school districts as they work to prepare students for success in our increasingly digital world.”
