SUMMARY:AI Literacy: Deeper Dive
DESCRIPTION:Prerequisite: This session is designed for districts who have purchased EasyTech/TechApps for Texas AND AI Literacy. \nAI Literacy: A Deeper Dive is a targeted\, hands-on one-hour session for districts that have already been trained in EasyTech or TechApps for Texas and have purchased the additional AI Literacy product. \nThis session shows participants how to teach the foundational skills students need to use AI safely and thoughtfully. Participants will see the student experience and curriculum progression across grade bands\, explore the Learn\, Practice\, Apply instructional model\, and preview examples of safe AI interaction\, prompt design\, critical evaluation\, and reflection. The session also includes a guided teacher co-learn activity that helps participants experience how prompt quality\, precision\, and critical thinking shape AI responses from both a student and teacher perspective. Participants practice key Teacher Center actions (navigate\, assign\, manage\, and monitor) and leave with strategies to build students’ confidence and decision-making when using AI. \nRegistration Link
