Designed to meet the needs of K-8 teachers, our on-site and online PD workshops focus on the most effective ways to use technology to improve student achievement. Curriculum
Designed for educators beginning to use our products. Learn to access your account, create classes, assign curriculum and enroll students, understand how to find curriculum that addresses your students' needs. Fully understand the instructional components of the product, and how to best implement in a variety of instructional settings.
Assessment
Designed for educators who are just beginning their assessment implementation. Participants will participate and proctor an online technology assessment event, describe why the assessment is important, create classes, set up assessment events, and enroll students, and interpret assessment reports and results.

Product Training
Beginning Introduction and Integration
Ideal for first-time users of our products, this hands-on workshop will help educators get started with the essential basics. Teachers will set up classes, enroll students, explore and assign curriculum to support current curriculum plans. Educators may also develop custom curriculum, review reports and determine assessment strategies, design lesson plans, and more. The Learning.com curriculum is designed to promote overall literacy and academic fluency by integrating technology-based learning into every subject. Teachers are empowered by the ability to customize instruction to address the needs of every individual learner, based on individual strengths and challenges. Advanced Implementation and Integration
Designed as a follow-up to the Beginning Introduction and Integration workshop, this session delves deeper and helps teachers build a strong, supportive implementation plan. Teachers will develop strategies to integrate technology into their day-to-day practices, evaluate their district’s tech standards and goals, determine how to implement product at their school, decide what curriculum will be introduced and reinforced, determine assessment strategies, share best practices, and more. Aha!Math will cover Response to Intervention (RTI) solutions.

Curriculum Mapping
In this workshop, our facilitator will work with educators to develop a comprehensive curriculum map that integrates technology tools and solutions into their current core curriculum to promote seamless implementation and increased student achievement. Educators will also learn about how the Learning.com platform is utilized to deliver curriculum units, and how the Learning.com District Custom Publishing tool takes their scoped and sequenced curriculum units and digitally disseminates material to their district.

Modeling and Mentoring
This workshop will focus on identifying and visiting specific school implementations, and working with the school coordinator on addressing site-specific needs and observing or leading student usage. Teachers observe a Learning.com professional development trainer conduct a technology integration activity with their class, and then debrief on ways to incorporate technology with their daily teaching practices.

Family Involvement
This workshop is ideal for school districts interested in promoting family involvement with technology. Teachers will learn how to introduce and involve families with our solutions and curriculum, create opportunities for families to learn and support technology at home, design and administer a family technology night, create technology integration activities that involve family participation, strategize ways to involve families in their child’s education, and more.

Core Content
STEM
This hands-on workshop is designed for teachers who are just beginning to implement an integrated STEM approach to instruction. Teachers will embark on an in-depth exploration into what STEM is and why it can be so effective. In addition, teachers will gain a thorough understanding of the engineering design process, and learn how to create inquiry-driven projects and fully-integrated STEM units they can use right away. The ultimate goal of the workshop is to give teachers the tools they need to confidently begin their STEM integration the very next day.

Project-Based Learning and Curriculum
This workshop is designed for districts that want to enhance their core curriculum with technology. Educators will review their district’s core content standards, scope, and sequence; integrate technology with content standards; design lesson plans that incorporate technology; identify effective uses of technology integration; determine assessment strategies for technology integration; and share best practices and student examples.

Assess and Achieve (Pretest)
