The inSky Provider Program enables education providers to improve educators' experience through Learning.com's digital learning environment: Sky

Denver, CO – June 27, 2010

Providers of digital education resources are looking for ways to improve how educators find, assign and use their materials. To meet that goal, Learning.com today announces the inSky Provider Program, a network of companies that use key features in the Sky digital learning environment, such as single sign-on, to enhance their users' experience.

The growing list of inSky participants includes:

The foundation of the inSky program is the Sky digital learning environment by Learning.com. Sky transforms the way districts access, assemble and distribute to teachers any Web-based resources, and meet accountability and reporting requirements aligned to state standards and their own district goals.

With Sky, districts literally give teachers the gift of time by freeing them from many of the administrative tasks that take them away from teaching. Sky offers teachers one-password access (single sign-on) to all district digital resources, and collaboration features so teachers connect with students, parents, and even with other teachers in professional learning communities.

"The inSky program makes it easy for education providers to deliver their resources right when teachers and administrators need them, " says William J. Kelly, Learning.com CEO. "Providers can leverage single sign-on and all the Sky features to help educators truly individualize instruction."

Provider participation can vary from simple customization of the single sign-on experience to full hosting of content within the Sky environment. "The inSky program represents a great opportunity for teachers to gain access to content from both Atomic Learning and Learning.com seamlessly," says Dan Meyer, CEO of Atomic Learning.

Today's announcement is the first in a series of enhancements planned for the Sky digital learning environment. For more information on the inSky provider program, please visit www.learning.com/insky. For a demonstration of Sky's capabilities, and to learn more, visit www.learning.com/sky.
