Alabama selects Learning.com for
Technology Education Adoption
Alabama districts may now choose a full K-12 technology education curriculum
along with a 21st century skills assessment

The Alabama State Department of Education has approved for purchase two Learning.com online solutions designed to support students’ technology literacy. Named to its 2009-10 Technology Education Textbook Adoption are EasyTech, a technology literacy curriculum, and 21st Century Skills Assessment, which provides data on how well students grasp 21st century skills.
Learning.com developed a K-12 technology literacy and assessment solution, including current content about Internet safety and information literacy, specifically for Alabama. Using the new solution, districts may select technology literacy curriculum for Elementary, Middle School and High School levels. Additionally, Learning.com’s 21st Century Skills Assessment will enable districts to better understand students’ 21st century skills.
