Learning.com's TechLiteracy Assessment Wins Prestigious SIIA Codie Award

Assessment provides school districts with data on students' technology literacy

PORTLAND, OREGON (April 17, 2007) — Learning.com's TechLiteracy Assessment has won a prestigious Codie Award, presented by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) April 17 at its annual awards banquet in San Francisco. The Web-delivered assessment measures and reports students' technology skills and provides data to support improved student learning outcomes.

TechLiteracy Assessment was awarded "Best Instruction Solution in Other Curriculum Areas," in the SIIA's annual competition to identify the leaders and innovators in education technology industries. TechLiteracy Assessment provides a district-wide solution for measuring technology proficiency for elementary and middle school students. It meets the needs of administrators and teachers who seek data to help them understand how well students grasp foundational technology skills.
