Learning.com Presents at Assessment Session
Thanks to all who attended the special NECC session, Assessing Students’ and Teachers’ Technology Skills: NETS as Benchmarks, in which Alia Jackson, Learning.com’s Marketing Manager, presented information about our TechLiteracy Assessment solution. On a panel speaking to a standing-room-only crowd, Alia discussed how the Web-delivered TechLiteracy Assessment provides educators with an easy and scaleable way to collect important data on student technology literacy, as well as the timely and automatic reports they need, while helping educators understand how well students grasp technology skills to inform instruction and meet accountability goals.
Congratulations iPod Winners
If you attended NECC in Atlanta, chances are good you saw one of the Learning.com T-shirts being worn on the exhibit hall floor. Ten lucky winners who were spotted wearing the shirts were rewarded at random with an iPod nano by our Learning.com staff. Congratulations, winners! We hope you enjoy the iPod and your T-shirts.
And Congratulations Laptop Winner
Rosemary Rinker, an Education Technology Specialist from Phillipsburg School District in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, is the lucky winner of a laptop, given away in a random drawing by Learning.com at NECC. Thank you to all the thousands of folks who entered their names.
Aha!Math Sneak Peeks at NECC
Many folks at NECC got a sneak peek of Learning.com’s newest solution, Aha!Math, a Web-delivered K-5 supplemental math curriculum that will be released in August. Aha!Math, available now at introductory pricing, helps teachers create successful math learners with research-based lessons, activities and games to improve foundational math skills and develop higher-level problem solving and reasoning skills. Rich with interactive, multisensory experiences that are relevant to students, Aha!Math helps students build conceptual and procedural knowledge and develop discovery and analytical skills.
