Online Curriculum Leader Learning.com names new VP of Sales

Portland, Ore. – August 13, 2008
Learning.com welcomes Steve Gardner as its new Vice President of Sales. Gardner was most recently President and CEO of Apta Software, an online financial and human resources management solutions developer and provider for K-12 school districts. Prior to Apta Software, he was with NCS Learn, a business of Pearson Education, for which he was responsible for all marketing, product strategy and business development for a suite of instructional products. He was also Vice President of Marketing & Sales for NovaNET Learning, and an international strategic management consultant for Bain & Company. Gardner has a bachelor’s degree from Williams College and earned his master’s degree from Wharton School of Business.
